Women’s Fashion:

What is the most important thing when it comes to fashion? Is it the clothes? Is it looking good? Is it looking good for the world or looking good for yourself? Many fashion enthusiasts think that looking good has nothing to do with fashion. But, to them we say the popular phrase: balderdash. We know that this isn’t a phrase, but they don’t have an argument as well. For us, fashion has always meant to look good and be comfortable while doing it. You will have to go out of your comfort zone, but you do not have to fall out of it right now.

So, we hear that ripped jeans are all the rave this spring, after all Gigi Hadid is sporting them. That is one way of thinking about fashion. But, if like us a $1000 pair of jeans with holes the size of your fist does not appeal to you, then we suggest a pair of bottoms from American Eagle. But, humor apart, there are three questions that you need to ask yourself to turn heads in adoration:

  1. What is my body type?
  2. What is the fit that should go with it and will accentuate the natural features?
  3. What color combinations do I like and that would not have me looking like a clown?

What Body Type are you?

But, before you answer these you have to be comfortable with who you are. That can only be achieved if you stop to appreciate yourself. After all, there is a reason that body types are usually named after fruits. All of them are sweet, but unfortunately the media would have all of us look like a coke bottle. So, find out your body type. The next question will require some reading up and experience. Find out your distinguishing features and select the right fit to accentuate them. Color combinations are the relaxed part, as long as you do not look like a clown, unless you want to look like it, then it would be the ideal look.

We have made a detailed infographic to help you out with the aforementioned questions. So, go through it and if you ever want ripped jeans, just rip up an old pair from the closet.

5 TOP TIPS: Getting Ready for your Night Out

We all love a night out, a little boogie and a few drinks, but more importantly we all love to feel great and love ourselves at the same time! Let’s face it, the more confident you feel, the more fun you have too…. I want to share with you my five top tips,  that if you follow, your confidence will be through the roof when you get in that taxi!

Confidence is the key to having fun. Wearing a great outfit, having the perfect hair and pretty make up may also helps too, but more importantly being happy with yourself is the key to any happiness, so here are my five top tips when getting ready for your night out…

  1. Have the perfect pair of heels. Having the perfect pair of shoes can make the world of difference to how you feel. Even if you wear there time and time again, if they comfy, make you smile and go with your outfit, you are hot to trot….
  2. Be highly groomed. Shave them legs, pluck those eyes brows, paint those nails and enjoy every second of it! Have a bath, a glass of wine and enjoy. This is my favourite part of going out, ‘my time’!
  3. Take your time. Make sure you give yourself plenty of it. When you rush, you become stressed and things just never look right or go right. Allow time to relax, listen to some music, have a glass of wine, plan your outfit and allow this to become apart of your evening!
  4. Be comfy, now this may sound a little fuzzy but this is one of the most important things – yes, beauty is pain, but smiles come with happiness and unfortunately that doesn’t come with pain. Hey, but fear not, this doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style… you just have to shop smart and be prepared to pay a little extra for the comfort.
  5. Be you. Wear something you are happy with, comfortable in and you’ll end up smiling are night long. Have a look at my ‘Get The Look’ posts to get some top tips on styling!

Happiness is key. Find something that makes you smile, create a beauty regime that you love, pick the outfit of your fashion heaven and more importantly surround yourself with people who make you feel fantastic and love you, for you!

Enjoy that night ladies XO.
